So here’s the thing, call it a disclaimer if you will – I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. I loved it! So so much actually that I plan to make it my nesting spot. The food was amazing, the service was good although the waiters did disappear sometimes, but that’s probably because we were cocooned where we could not be seen.
They have enough seating arrangements to tickle anyone’s fancy. There’s seating inside ofcourse, outside on the patio and the best seats in the house – where we were. It was private so I could catch up with my friend in our own little corner of the world and I could take as many pictures as I wanted without looking over my shoulder. The couch seating was cozy and homey and the view of the bustling road was great for a relaxed afternoon.
So here’s how it works. There are four restaurants in one – The Daily, Fireplace, Haandi and Bar Asia. So it doesn’t matter what you think you’re in the mood for because you have enough options available to you under one roof that changing your mind is easy. The range of menu items is as shown in the picture above, and we were a little confused about what to order lol.
The appetiser. The genius in me completely forgot to note down specifics on what we ordered, but I think this appetiser is from Haandi.
The dipping sauce on the left is a really good peanut one, and the one on the right is a really hot one that we weren’t warned about, so it caused a lot of coughing which was kinda funny.
And it was goooood. The chicken was tender and sweet and the slight charr made it taste heavenly.
I ordered my meal from Fireplace because it came highly recommended by my waiter.
Beef sirloin with mashed potato and stir friend veggies. Yummy to say the least. There was some rosemary laid on top for presentation, and a dipping sauce that was divine, so I was very happy with my choice.
My friend ordered the bacon burger and it came in this twisted bun that I thought was such a fun little surprise. The food portions are great, and we were both so full that we had to sit and let it all go down lol.
We opted out of dessert because we were still so full by the time we left, but I’m dying to go back and try their cheese cake. All in all I think it’s definitely a restaurant worth visiting, and I highly recommend it.
