Sloppy Chic x

Hello 👋👋
Hope you’re having an awesome week so far 😀 I am for sure, for a number of reasons. Let’s catch up shall we?

1. I finally get to take a semester off next semester. Yaaay!! I can’t even tell you how excited I am about this. I’ve been in need of a break for a while now, and I really do think I’ll come back refreshed and ready to deal with irritating teachers.

2. Because I’ll have some four or so months free, I plan to do a bit of travelling for the blog :D:D I promised big plans on the horizon and this is one of them. I’ll get into this more in a later post but I’m soooooo excited 😁😁

3. Dot com. Finally. This was supposed to happen a while ago, but my host (GoDaddy) wouldn’t update my payment info then I ended up going shopping with the money lol So I try again next week. Fingers crossed 😀

Now that we’re all caught up, onto todays outfit. I’d like to say that I’m trying something different here, but let’s face it – baggy is kind of a theme on this blog 😀 We’re calling it sloppy chic today, and throwing on my favourite pair of boyfriend jeans with an oversized top and blue suede shoes I just got that I’m obsessed with! I love a good chunky heel coz it’s the easiest thing in the world to walk in and the brown bottom just adds the right kind of colour pop needed with this blue on blue ensemble.

I wanted to go for something super casual that still looked somewhat put together, and I know every associates baggy clothes with sloppy people but I so do not agree with that.

Though I do have to admit that this is more of a lazy day look, when you’re just running errands or dropping by the shop or something. I wouldn’t wear it to lunch or anything, but I would wear it to school on a chill kinda day.

I’m channelling a very relaxed “guy” vibe with this, because they just get away with waay too many things with fashion. There’s a peak at the bag I paired with this – a tweed and leather situation that’s super cute and such a great thrift find. And, ofcourse the shades from this look, also a new thrifting treasure.

  1. Heeerrrhhhh, your tripod looks just like mine! Does that mean we are tripod sisters now?? 😀

Loving the hair and shades as usual, it simply looks so good on you. Can you believe I don’t own and have NEVER won boyfriend jeans?? Donno, I just feel it would never look as good on me. Plus, I’m a dresses kinda girl. Seeing how you rock yours, maybe I might be persuaded to try…

The glasses and shoes are really dope! 😀

Aaaand four months off? How lucky are you! Wow. Hope you don’t totally forget all you learnt by the time you’re back, hehe. CANNOT wait to see your travel posts!
(And yes, I’m typing from the computer, I can finally write as long as I like and you are obligated to read every. single. last. word. You are warned! mwuhahahaha)

    Good to see you back.

  2. I love this style! Comfy but chic. This is the perfect outfit for a hungover Saturday out and about… Or me in everyday life. If you ever can/want to style me I’m always available. 😉

  3. Wow, sloppy chic style is hot! For some reason I can imagine Rihanna wearing that outfit too. Hmm, this will be interesting to see where your travel adventures take you. Can’t wait!
